Days 1 and 2 - Just a couple of pics at the airport and some traffic. Then on to the beach because AnnMarie HAD to put her toes in the pacific ocean.

Next day we start a Ty's apartment and walk to campus. A little stroll around campus and ...you have to watch out for the bike cuz they will hit you! It is a nice community and I really do like the bike path idea. I like taking pictures of the plants and flowers.

After the tour we went to the grocery store so Linda could stock Ty's fridge and cabinets. When we got home she cooked an awesome steak dinner for the hungry boys.

 

 

Day 3 - Starting at the hotel (nice place, huh?) we took off on our day to Santa Barbara. While there we went to a seafood festival, there, Tyler tried som oysters (yuk, I think).

Santa Barbara is beautiful! The outdoor mall has all the best stores and quite nice surroundings.

We capped the evening off with a UCSB soccer game against UC Davis. UCSB won 1-0

 

Day 4 - Today we went to wine country (the same area in the movie "Sideways") We trecked over the mountain pass to the canyon. (Nomar and Mia were married near here) We stopped at Los Olivos but it was too early for tasting wine, Hummingbirds were awesome though.

After a drive that winded through the notch we looked for Micheal Jackson's ranch ...no luck!

We then went on to Salverno, a town built by the Danish. On the way back just after the ostrich farm, we drove by the Hitching Post ...the restaurant that Sideways took place in. The road with the car dealerships is the one they walked naked down.
